Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for salaried and hourly employees in CAD currency, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
  • Benefits Management: Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and retirement plans.
  • New Hire Setup: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including setting up payroll and benefits information.
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and secure.
  • Compliance: Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Reporting: Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on Canadian payroll.
  • Bilingual: Fluency in English and French is required.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
