We are currently seeking a *Service Technician* at our *Wolfe Chevrolet Edmonton *location.

Automotive Service Technicians diagnose and repair cars or light trucks. Other duties of the automotive service technician include inspecting vehicles, performing routine service and keeping records of work done. Day-to-day duties expected of automotive service technicians include the analysis of cars to determine what is wrong in unique circumstances and using testing equipment following repairs to ensure that automobiles are safe to drive.

*What you’ll be doing:*
* Interpret work orders and complete repairs as indicated
* Conduct inspections as per preventative maintenance schedules and safety checks (i.e., AMVIC, Out-of-Province Inspections)
* Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, clutches, gearboxes, cooling systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, exhaust, brakes, suspension, etc
* Complete all necessary administrative paperwork such as inspection forms, including Mechanical Fitness Assessment (i.e., AMVIC), work orders, parts/inventory requisition forms, and equipment/vehicle logbooks
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Work collaboratively with fellow Wolfe Pack Members
* Interact with Service & Parts Advisors in a productive/positive manner

*What we are looking for: *
* Red Seal Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician preferred; will consider 3rd or 4th year apprentices
* Graduate of General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program through an accredited institution (i.e., SAIT or NAIT) is an asset
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* Aspire to obtain or currently hold GM Grand Master Technician Certification
* Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as: Techline Connect, and SI (Service Information)
* Possess a valid class 5 Alberta driver's license and provide a clean driving record
* A courageous safety leader who adheres to and sponsors safety rules and procedures
* Intrinsically driven to remain up to date on current trends in industry-relevant technology
* Five (5) years of relevant (i.e., GMC/Chevrolet dealership) experience preferred
