The summer intern will have the opportunity to observe & work alongside pastoral staff and volunteers in all aspects of church work, including Children’s ministry, Worship Arts, Teaching/Preaching, Jr Youth & Youth ministry and Community ministry.

The job will entail:

• observing ministry work in a church setting

• receiving coaching/mentoring in job specific skills and leadership training

• reflecting on and exploring their unique giftedness

• collaborating & communicating with staff, volunteers and church members

• opportunities to engage in or lead in each area of church work, as suited to the individual’s specific interests and giftedness

• activities/responsibilities could include: organizing, planning, decision making and teaching
