Communications Specialist, Risk Services

What it's like to be a Northbridge Risk Services Communications Specialist  The Risk Services Communications Specialist is responsible for leading the identification, development, implementation and maintenance of Risk Services content, internal communications, and technical documentation to execute on departmental and organizational initiatives. In this role, you'll work in conjunction with Risk Services to draw on subject matter expert knowledge to create best practice guidelines for all sectors of business. We want your talent If you are great at: Excellent written and verbal skills: Ability to comprehend technical concepts and concisely convey information through proficient writing, editing, and proofreading Advanced presentation and digital layout experience: Can filter complex information to design succinct and visually appealing presentations, infographics and other visuals Communication plans: Develop and execute strategies for rollout plans with timelines Digital media expertise: Promote Risk Services expertise by creating content for social media platforms, including a variety of visual media Organized leader: Detail-oriented approach to creating timelines, project plans, and strategies; able to lead, track and facilitate the completion of reports and projects with multiple contributors Cross-functional collaboration: Support departmental and organizational initiatives, and foster collaboration within the department and across other departments Relationship-building: Can build effective relationships at all organizational levels, stakeholders, and external partners You have: University degree in communications, marketing, design, digital media, risk management or equivalent Industry knowledge: 5+ years in insurance, risk management or equivalent Languages: English, French is an asset Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe InDesign, Articulate, Apple Keynote and Pages Languages: English, French is an asset Experience in digital layout design and content creation Dynamic self-empowerment: Self-starter and independent, yet takes the initiative to stay involved and asks clarifying questions as needed  Mac OS proficiency: Mac environment as primary operating system We really mean it when we say we put you first.
