Skate Canada – Saskatchewan (Skate Saskatchewan) is seeking a volunteer with financial/accounting background to serve as a Treasurer on our Board of Directors Executive for fiscal years 2024-2026.
Skate Canada - Saskatchewan is a non-profit sport governing body who is affiliated with and governed by Skate Canada.
Fostering the growth and development of skating through quality programs.
Values: We value building positive relationships based on integrity, transparency and inclusion. In the pursuit of excellence, we value innovation, collaboration, and commitment.
In Saskatchewan, over 7,000 individual members belonging to 99 affiliated clubs/skating schools utilize Skate Canada programs.
Financial expertise/CPA designation (non-profit experience is an asset)
· Awareness of, engagement in, or interest in the sport of figure skating is an asset.
· Virtual meetings on as needs basis.
· Board members serve on one committee at least such as Finance & Business Development.
· Board and committee meetings are conducted online, in English.
