A prominent engineering consultancy firm based in Vancouver, is currently seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with specialized expertise in hydropower systems and civil engineering. We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our clients in various sectors, including renewable energy, infrastructure, and environmental engineering.We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for hydropower projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical engineering and civil engineering, with a focus on hydropower applications.Designing mechanical systems for hydropower projects, including turbines, pumps, and hydraulic structures.Conducting feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate mechanical requirements and project feasibility.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems with civil engineering designs.Performing stress analysis, simulation, and optimization of mechanical components.Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Providing technical guidance and support to project managers and clients.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on hydropower systems.Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and permitting processes for hydropower projects.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage.Flexible work hours and a supportive work environment.How to Apply: If you are a motivated Mechanical Engineer with a passion for renewable energy and civil engineering, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
