In this client specific RPN position, duties will include skilled clinical care and personal care,
such as getting the client ready for school, accompanying to school and providing after school care.
Shifts include 715am - 430pm every Tuesday
Casual status
Location - Gage Park area

Experience with Kabuki syndrome and persons with vision impairment considered an asset.
Experience with G tube feeds and maintenance, cardio/respiratory, and seizure management.
Experience establishing a therapeutic rapport with client who is non verbal.
Problem solver and compassionate nurse, with ability to work with current behavioral plan and committed to establishing a therapeutic rapport with client.

What you’ll be doing:

As an RPN, make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of nursing care to our clients in their community. This includes but not limited to palliative, pediatric, wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching chronic disease prevention.
As the primary care planner to your clients, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship and preceptorship programs.
You will teach, delegate tasks and functions to different levels of workers and client family members while maintaining our industry’s highest level of practice.
You are the nursing care expert for your community. With our efficient work schedules, you will be focused more on care time and less travel time.

Job Qualification

Qualifications you currently have:

Registered Practical Nurses who graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Updated Immunization Records, Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check upon hire
Current CPR certification required

Experience with Kabuki syndrome and persons with vision impairment considered an asset.
