Canada Rocket Company is searching for a Head of Propulsion Systems to oversee and innovate propulsion technology for launch vehicles. This senior role integrates leadership with advanced technical understanding of fluid and propulsion systems. As Head of Propulsion, you will steer a talented team in the development and qualification of propulsion systems. Your extensive experience will guide project management while interfacing with key regulatory bodies. Your focus on team dynamics will create a culture of ownership and efficient practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical execution for propulsion systems design
- Manage development, testing, and certification processes
- Mentor a talented, multidisciplinary engineering staff
- Conduct assessments and improve propulsion systems
- Collaborate with agencies to meet certification standards
- 10+ years of experience in rocket propulsion engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
- Knowledge of fluid systems and turbomachinery
- Proficiency with CAD, Python, and safety planning
- Expertise in stakeholder reporting and proposal writing
