The Head of Investor Relations is the face of Dayforce to the investment community and a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). You will play a critical role in managing relationships with our shareholders, analysts, and the broader investment community. You will be responsible for effectively communicating our company's strategy, financial performance, and growth prospects to investors and analysts, while also serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and the investment community. While you will largely be an individual contributor, you will need to build relationships across Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Implementation, and M&A to be successful.
Communicate the company's financial performance, business strategy, and industry trends through quarterly earnings calls, investor presentations, press releases, and other channels.
Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership on investor sentiment, market trends, and regulatory developments.
Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and communications teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in all investor communications.
Own the financial modeling used to develop the investor facing story, developed in partnership with Strategy and Financial Planning & Analysis.
Responsible for financial guidance, including presentations to the Executive Operating Committee and Board of Directors.
Consult on M&A opportunities and provide valuable input to the acquisition team.
Plan and execute investor conferences, roadshows, and other investor events to broaden the company's investor base and enhance visibility in the financial markets.
Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and disclosure requirements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and work experience; MBA or MS in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Functional expertise with a minimum of 7 years in finance, investor relations, buy-side analyst, sell-side analyst, or a similar function.
Knowledge and experience in enterprise software or technology, with HCM market experience a plus.
Demonstrated executive presence and engagement.
