IPAC Consulting is seeking a dynamic and passionate Infection Prevention and Control Consultant to join our team. As a Consultant, you will work closely with clients in diverse sectors, providing expert guidance and support to develop comprehensive infection control strategies. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in safeguarding public health and enhancing the reputation of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients across various sectors to understand their unique needs and challenges in infection control.
• Develop and implement tailored infection control strategies, protocols, and risk assessment plans.
• Provide training sessions and educational resources to clients and their staff to ensure best practices in infection control.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations and standards, guiding clients to meet and exceed compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of infection control practices for clients.
• Maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation to track progress and ensure transparency.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in infection control and share expertise within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
• Certified Infection Control (CIC) or LTC-CIP credential is a plus.
• Proven experience in infection control consulting or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of infection control practices in various sectors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• A commitment to promoting best practices in infection control.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Frequent travel within the province and occasional interprovincial travel are required.
• Fluent in French, both written and spoken, with the ability to effectively communicate and conduct business in French-speaking environments (would be considered an asset).
