Purpose of the positionIn order to develop the customer experience, excellent financial health is required, with the FP&A analyst being an essential collaborator with their business partners. This person will provide the data, budgets and analyses necessary for informed decision-making for all of Ren’s Pets major functions.Your mission at Groupe Legault, dedicated to supporting Ren’s PetsParticipate in the month-end process, prepare journal entries and identify risks and opportunities.Participate in the preparation and development of budgets and financial forecasts; Ensure budgetary control of operating costs.Participate and support the information gathering for audits.Responsible for producing and analyzing inventory, sales, margins and loyalty program reports.Complete the monthly phasing for stores and uploads.Act as a business partner for the retail, category management and marketing teams.Provide recommendations based on financial analyses. Be the economic conscience in the discussions.Participate in the continuous improvement of procedures and identify opportunities for automation and simplification of recurring accounting processes.ProfileExcellent interpersonal skills.Rigor and attention to detail.Strong analytical skills and utilize key business understandings when problem solving and providing insight.Speed of execution and adaptability in an ever-changing environment.Great sense of confidentiality.Experience & EducationBachelor's degree in accounting or finance.Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.CPA accounting designation or in progress (asset).Special AbilitiesKnowledge of SAP (asset)Knowledge of NAV (asset)Knowledge of Business Object, WEB BI (asset)Knowledge of Tableau/Power BIKnowledge of the Office365 suiteKnowledge of Jet Reports (asset)Fluency with Excel (mandatory)Oral and written communication skills, in EnglishWork Environment, Conditions and BenefitsHealth insurance coverage;Opportunities for continuous skills development;Payment of the CPA Order's annual fees.To be happy at Ren’s, you:Love meeting people and making connectionsConsider that being trustworthy and honest is the foundation of all good relationshipsCollaborate with your team and help create a unique atmosphereHave a desire to constantly develop your skills and enjoy evolving in an ever-changing environment.
