As an Electrical technologist (0 – 2 years experience) , you will work in collaboration with the Electrical team in our Saskatoon office
As a successful candidate you will be accountable to the Senior Electrical Engineer and support the development and delivery of building projects during all stages of the project.
Can prepare drawing sets with guidance and supervision
Understands basic design procedures and can generate a technical design with guidance and supervision
Can draft contract documents in a fast and accurate manner
Understands the role of regulatory bodies on the practice of engineering
Demonstrates awareness of the relationship between the engineering activity and the public / other disciplines
Demonstrates importance of project budget during design and construction
Certificate in electrical / architectural drafting technology from an accredited Canadian technical college or institute, or equivalent work experience, with an emphasis on facility design and/or building science
A comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
A comprehensive working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is required
Effectively manages a variety of projects and/or initiatives, often occurring simultaneously
Enjoys working in a professional office environment, and can work outside of normal business hours, when necessary
