Building on our vast experience and expertise, we are determined to embark on this unprecedented venture that will revolutionize the GO regional rail network. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Estimating team of the ONxpress Construction Joint Venture (CJV). This is an extraordinary opportunity to be at the forefront of one of Canada's most monumental projects, where your proficiency and guidance will shape its success.

Utilize your extensive experience in construction estimating across diverse scopes of work, including civil, structures, track, and stations.
Demonstrate your expertise in design models and integrated digital delivery (IDD) software for precise project scope evaluation and quantity generation.
Develop meticulous bills of quantities (BOQ) by leveraging your experience and employing various advanced techniques, including Bluebeam.
Utilize your extensive network and deep knowledge of the industry to obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality.
Thoroughly research historical data, such as purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis, benchmarking, and reports, to compile insightful summary reports and establish robust estimating guidelines for the project.
Provide valuable insights into the design process, leveraging your vast knowledge to ensure a seamless transition from planning to execution.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers and executives, to deliver accurate and comprehensive estimates that align with project objectives.

Over 10 years of hands-on experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully estimating projects of significant scale and complexity.
A solid educational foundation with a university degree or technical college diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and cost control techniques.
Advanced proficiency in standard Microsoft software (Excel, Word, etc.), A results-oriented mindset with an unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.
