The Opportunity:

Our client, a longstanding manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and improve business performance. This position will focus on utilizing the Infor Birst platform to analyze data, develop actionable insights, and provide valuable recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users
  • Prepare and maintain BI reporting and analysis documentations
  • BI and database systems administration
  • Manage upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting of BI systems
  • Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using the Infor Birst platform
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
  • Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to support strategic planning and decision-making processes
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on BI tools and processes
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
  • 2 – 6 years of experience working with business intelligence tools and technologies
  • Advanced skills in data visualization and dashboard development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry or related fields is a plus
