This is an existing opportunity for a talented director of finance who is looking for a new challenge
Impact Recruitment has partnered with an established law firm that is on the hunt for an experienced director of finance. Reporting to the partner, the director of finance will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance function, some of the duties include but are not limited to:
Oversee and manage the accounting team.
Track partner’s monthly draws, oversee AP/AR and improve collections.
Develop new and streamline existing accounting policies and producers.
Oversee all the annual reviews and work in collaboration with external tax and audit consultants for year-end tax and audit work.
Ensure compliance with law society rules and accounting regulations.
Ad hoc projects as needed.
7+ years of accounting experience
Experience working in the legal/professional service industry.
Public practice experience is an asset.
