Job Description

In your role, you will:

  1. Enforce adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote integrity and consistency in technical engineering activities;
  2. Manage priorities and ensure they are communicated and harmonized;
  3. Coordinate and track the work of engineering document release (Drawings, Modsums, RFCs, NOCs, etc.) within their associated schedules from our internal and external suppliers;
  4. Identify and report on risks and support risk mitigation planning and execution;
  5. Coordinate multi-site activities as necessary;
  6. Prepare and present visibility reports at various governances to different layers of the organization;
  7. Actively support the improvement projects of our processes & tools;
  8. Represent the Configuration Management team at various cross-functional meetings;
  9. Create activity and resource plans to support flexible strategies and reporting;
  10. Lead harmonization of DCP changes on Challenger 3500;
  11. Support enforcement of Bombardier standards and best practices in relation to change management activities;
  12. Support knowledge transfer and management activities;
  13. Control and Manage RSI application on Challenger platforms.
Requirements for Ideal Candidate

As our ideal candidate, you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering / or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management or in aerospace;
  • Are educated and experienced in project management (A PMP certification is considered an asset);
  • Have sound aircraft Engineering and/or Operations experience (asset);
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills (essential);
  • Have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to objectives and responsibilities;
  • Have a proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Have a strategic mind and an attention to details, supporting your interest for taking over responsibilities;
  • Can analyze large amounts of data to identify trends allowing efficient decision making;
  • Are self-motivated, autonomous, and enthusiastic;
  • Demonstrate the ability to work willingly and independently in a fast-paced, challenging environment;
  • Have effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets;
  • Have good computing skills; proficient in MS Office and experience with MS Excel and Power BI is an asset.
