Our Supportive Housing program provides safe and secure housing and wraparound support to people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness. Employer contribution to Municipal Pension Plan (MPP)*

Benefits are for Full-Time and Part-Time employees working 20 hours per week or more
Makes recommendation to the supervisor regarding program development, policy and procedure formulation and program evaluation.
Facilitates the effective day-to-day operation of the program/s by ensuring that the necessary facilities and equipment are in place, program guidelines and policies are adhered to, and program standards and licensing requirements are met.
Provides direct support services as assigned by Program Manager, Senior Manager or their designate.
Liaises with community service providers and other professionals to coordinate service provision, facilitate referrals to the program and represent the organization or program in external events.
Along with the other residence staff, monitors and ensures effective operation of the facility including quality control concerning cleaning equipment, indoor and outdoor maintenance, inventory, and food services.
Provides input into meal scheduling and preparation, including food inventory.
In cooperation with the management team, is available as a resource to staff, in case of emergencies. This includes participating in the on-call rotation and carrying the pager or cell phone 24 hours per day.
Valid class 5 driver’s license
Diploma in Social Services and one year of relevant experience, we will consider a relevant combination of education and experience
Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
49 per hour. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada, observe their weekly hours limit if under a temporary or study visa, and provide proof of eligibility if selected for the role.
