Key Responsibilities include :Construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, driveways, walls, footings, steps, etc.Participate with Job-site preparation as requiredPour and spread concreteSafe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and machineryAble and willing to work with concrete vibrators, screeds, etc.Participate with the installation of stringline as required for slip forming operationsManual labour.Position Requirements :Considerable knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance.Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work. Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.Ability to interpret blueprints and make simple calculations in order to read survey stakes and calculate areas and volumes.Skill in the use and care of hand and small power tools associated with the work.Our purposeAt GIP Interpaving , our people are second to none.
