XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems focused on research and energy development contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint. XNRGY is seeking a qualified Senior-Buyer (Non Product) to join its team located in St-Hubert.

The person in this position will play a critical role in XNRGY’s supply chain operations activities, focusing on the procurement of indirect goods and services that support the company’s manufacturing, operational and offices needs. This role requires a proficient thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills and a strong understanding of procurement best practices.

Procurement Management: Source, negotiate, and procure indirect goods and services, including office supplies, IT, manufacturing tools and equipment, maintenance services, and any other non-production related goods.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Cost Control: Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate trends, and make informed procurement decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including operations, finance, IT and administration, to understand their needs and provide effective procurement support.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of non-production items, ensuring optimal stock levels to support uninterrupted operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
• Knowledge of contract law and purchasing best practices.

Professional proficiency in the French language is required and essential for all employees based in Montreal. Since professional proficiency in the English language is important, it allows collaboration with employees from the group based in the United States or elsewhere in the world.
