PROJECTS / Assignment

The project manager, Artificial Intelligence, will drive the successful execution of the Fuel Optimization AI project in terms of meeting business and technical specifications in line with the cost, schedule and quality targets defined for the project. The successful candidate will be proactive and able to build trust with business stakeholders to drive the project holistically and ensure that risks are identified and resolved successfully. One of the main roles and responsibilities is to act as a bridge between the management, the stakeholders, and the project team members.

Functional Accountabilities

  • Lead the AI project from end-to-end encompassing planning, design, technical implementation, debugging, and roll-out to production.
  • Support the definition of business and technical requirements by ensuring the integration of technical documentation so that all project business documents, artifacts and deliverables are signed off and meet business needs.
  • Compile master project roadmap including workstreams, key activities, milestones, due dates, build out project timelines, track tasks assignment and monitor project progress,
  • Provide on-going communication to key stakeholders, including the Product owner, the AI CoE management, the AI Program Manager to ensure they are aware of significant changes to the project status in a timely manner.
  • Work with Product owner and stakeholders to define use cases and translate use cases into specifications, quantify and track business value, and work across business and technical teams to drive successful delivery of products.
  • Manage scope and pace of execution to ensure high quality and on time delivery.
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve project cost, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Provide business and technical inputs to Business Governance and Operational Management Committees, as appropriate.
  • Engage appropriate stakeholders to identify and manage required outcomes of projects for the business.
  • Communicate regularly with fellow project managers involved in other initiatives to foster an environment of mutual awareness and alignment on converging project timelines, interdependencies, and common challenges and best practices.
  • Assess and escalate risk related to the project to the proper management level when needed.
  • Follow and champion all project governance methodologies and associated practices, including risks, dependencies, and decision logs.
  • Establish Agile values and practices, take a leadership role in establishing Agile values, methods, principles, and practices for project and product delivery.
  • Conduct project retrospectives to harness lessons learned from a project agile delivery perspective. Years of Experience Required
  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience managing complex projects with extensive background in development and delivering them throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, management, or relevant discipline.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, communicate succinctly and efficiently, build consensus, and handle complex projects in similar environments.
  • Strong relationship management, leadership skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage strategic and tactical plans while navigating an evolving business environment.
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in SDLC tools like JIRA, DevOPS and Confluence is a must.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and time management skills.
  • A proven track record with the Agile delivery model and software development lifecycle best practices.
  • An ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work, both personally and at a team level
  • Self-motivated, a creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships at all levels.
  • Creative, resourceful, and innovative problem solver.
  • Airline or travel industry experience is a plus, but not required. Able to multi-task and work under pressure against tight deadlines and changing priorities

PROJETS / Affectation

Le chef de projet, Intelligence artificielle, pilotera la bonne exécution du projet d'IA d'optimisation du carburant en termes de respect des spécifications commerciales et techniques conformément aux objectifs de coût, de calendrier et de qualité définis pour le projet. Le candidat retenu sera proactif et capable d'établir une relation de confiance avec les parties prenantes de l'entreprise pour mener le projet de manière holistique et s'assurer que les risques sont identifiés et résolus avec succès. L'un des principaux rôles et responsabilités est d'agir comme un pont entre la direction, les parties prenantes et les membres de l'équipe de projet.

Responsabilités fonctionnelles

  • Diriger le projet d'IA de bout en bout en passant par la planification, la conception, la mise en œuvre technique, le débogage et le déploiement jusqu'à la production.
  • Soutenir la définition des exigences commerciales et techniques en assurant l'intégration de la documentation technique afin que tous les documents commerciaux, artefacts et livrables du projet soient signés et répondent aux besoins opérationnels.
  • Compiler la feuille de route du projet principal comprenant les flux de travail, les activités clés, les jalons, les dates d'échéance, établir les calendriers du projet, suivre l'attribution des tâches et surveiller l'avancement du projet,
  • Fournir une communication continue aux principales parties prenantes, y compris le Product Owner, la direction du centre d'excellence de l'IA et le responsable du programme d'IA pour s'assurer qu'ils sont informés des changements importants dans l'état du projet en temps opportun.
  • Travaillez avec le Product Owner et les parties prenantes pour définir les cas d'utilisation et les traduire en spécifications, quantifier et suivre la valeur commerciale, et travailler avec les équipes commerciales et techniques pour assurer la réussite de la livraison des produits.
  • Gérer la portée et le rythme d'exécution pour assurer une haute qualité et une livraison dans les délais.
  • Gérer une équipe multidisciplinaire pour atteindre les objectifs de coût, de calendrier et de qualité du projet.
  • Fournir des contributions commerciales et techniques aux comités de gouvernance d'entreprise et de gestion opérationnelle, le cas échéant.
  • Impliquer les parties prenantes appropriées pour identifier et gérer les résultats requis des projets pour l'entreprise.
  • Communiquer régulièrement avec les autres chefs de projet impliqués dans d'autres initiatives afin de favoriser un environnement de sensibilisation mutuelle et d'alignement sur les échéanciers convergents des projets, les interdépendances, les défis communs et les meilleures pratiques.
  • Évaluer et transmettre les risques liés au projet au niveau de gestion approprié au besoin.
  • Suivre et défendre toutes les méthodologies de gouvernance de projet et les pratiques associées, y compris les risques, les dépendances et les journaux de décision.
  • Établir des valeurs et des pratiques Agiles, jouer un rôle de leadership dans l'établissement des valeurs, des méthodes, des principes et des pratiques Agile pour la livraison de projets et de produits.
  • Effectuez des rétrospectives de projet pour exploiter les leçons apprises du point de vue de la livraison agile du projet. Années d'expérience requises
  • Minimum de 8+ ans d'expérience dans la gestion de projets complexes avec une vaste expérience en développement et leur livraison tout au long du cycle de vie du développement.

COMPÉTENCES REQUISES

  • Baccalauréat en commerce, en sciences, en ingénierie, en gestion ou dans une discipline pertinente.
  • Capacité avérée à travailler de manière interfonctionnelle, à communiquer de manière succincte et efficace, à établir un consensus et à gérer des projets complexes dans des environnements similaires.
  • Solides compétences en gestion des relations, en leadership et en organisation.
  • Capacité à gérer simultanément des plans stratégiques et tactiques tout en naviguant dans un environnement commercial en évolution.
  • Expérience avec le Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) est un atout.
