Our Campus Recruitment team is looking for an adaptable and self-motivated problem solver with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. A knack for logistics, planning, strategic thinking, and being a team player will help you drive this fast-paced opportunity.

Job location: Fort McMurray, Alberta (Site-Based)
Note, there is potential for travel and the attendance of career fairs or networking events outside of standard business hours during peak periods.
Shift schedule: 4 x 3, 10 hours/day

Key Accountabilities:

Collaborate with business units to understand business needs and position requirements to devise appropriate recruitment strategies
Provide support to hiring managers to ensure they have an effective understanding of the student recruitment process and lifecycle management
Actively participate in the recruiting process with hiring managers including screening resumes, preparing interview questions, coordinating and conducting behavior-based interviews with candidates, and applying appropriate selection processes
Create and manage all requisitions and applicants through the Candidate Management System
Facilitate student lifecycle events including on-boarding, extensions, and off-boarding (performance reviews and exit surveys)
Support the building and sustaining of relationships by managing a targeted campus recruitment strategy and drive brand awareness by partnering with schools, career centers, student clubs, and faculty
Provide direct HR advisory support to our student employees as their primary point of contact and set students up for success by managing resources and internal programs

What You Bring to the Role:

Relevant post-secondary degree program, complemented by at least two years of Human Resources experience in the area of recruitment and selection
Demonstrable ability to network and professional communicate with internal HR and leaderships, business representatives, external vendors, schools, and candidates
Superior communication, organizational and project management skills are required
Oil and gas industry experience
Event planning and coordinating experience
Experience with presenting to large groups
