- Own architecture and implementation of control-plane-scaling systems
- Lead design from vague goals to defined milestones
- Drive technical decisions across EC2 Networking and partner teams
- Maintain operational excellence through observability and safe deployment
- Mentor engineers, enhancing team quality and judgment
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Experience in leading system design and architecture
- Background as a tech lead or mentor
- Full software development life cycle experience preferred
