As the biggest large animal veterinarian service in Atlantic Canada, we know how many cows, horses and people are truly counting on someone to monitor their health, give them exceptional care and take action that supports their long-term health.
Someone with experience is great but so is someone who has recently graduated and is eager to put their learning to work. We also know that someone might prefer horses or cows, Part-time over Full-time and that’s something we’re excited to explore with the right someone. Most importantly we know there is someone out there who shares our values - who wants to build lasting relationships, provide exceptional service, and to get home to their own someone’s each night and have a life they are passionate about living.
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
Presents a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the public.
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
