This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of our network systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design, implementation, and management, along with a strong background in team leadership and strategic planningKey Responsibilities:Network Design & Implementation: Develop and implement network infrastructure strategies that align with organizational goals. Design, configure, and deploy network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.Management & Oversight: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers and administrators. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to ensure high availability and efficiency. Analyze network traffic and capacity planning to prevent bottlenecks and downtime.Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices. Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards..Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting guides.
