This unique position requires an experienced front line clinical care individual with clinical knowledge for the configuration, testing, and implementation of clinical applications to support the successful implementation, ongoing maintenance, and evaluation of clinical applications. Reporting to the Regional Manager Consumer Health Systems and working in close collaboration with Clinical Informatics, clinical and technical staff, the Nursing Analyst - Consumer Health Systems provides clinical knowledge input for the configuration, testing, and implementation of clinical applications to support the successful implementation, ongoing maintenance, and evaluation of patient-centered digital health applications. The Nursing Analyst Clinical Systems (Consumer Health), as part of the sustainment operations team, supports the Consumer Health digital services applications for NH patient users, provides application training for staff and Physicians, utilizing clinical nursing, and system knowledge and works in partnership with patients and other health authorities. This role also participates in clinical business reviews, needs assessments, and contributes to the development of policies and processes that support use of patient digital health applications in best practice models for service delivery.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: : Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00. This position is typically located in Prince George in the Brunswick Building. This position requires travel.

Qualfications
• Current practicing membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Two (2) years recent related experience in patient care, including one (1) year experience with the use of computer based clinical information systems, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience supporting end users in the use of computer based clinical information systems, and familiarity with clinical applications and workflows.
• Recent Experience in the development and delivery of training programs in a computerized client care environment.
• Current valid B.C. Driver's License.

• Computer literacy with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Ability to travel regionally and provincially
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
