Are YOU our next Medical Laboratory Technologist?
We’re looking for a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Histology team in Brampton, Ontario. You will be responsible for delivering in a timely manner the highest level of clinical and scientific quality to everyone we serve with a variety of testing using the latest technology. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
Deliver high-quality laboratory services in a timely manner
Perform all aspects of Histology, including grossing specimens, embedding, microtomy, routine and special staining
Ensure quality control standards and perform routine maintenance on lab equipment
Carry a CMLTO Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing
Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level
Solid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution
Nice to have: working experience in the Histology field
Normal office environment
Medical laboratory environment
May sit or stand for prolonged period of time with extensive computer use
