Montréal QC, Canada D4M International Full time

D4M International is seeking an experienced and highly qualified SAP SD & OTC consultant, with a strong S/4HANA background to join our Canadian practice in our Montreal office. This role is open to both those SAP specialists seeking a new full-time position, as well as contract consultants.

You will be an SAP S/4HANA OTC Business Process Expert (BPE) and be able to support our manufacturing industry clients both in Canada and in the USA. As an SAP Specialist, you will need to understand business processes, ensure they are lean, standardized, and aligned with current industry best practices. You will be expected to translate business ideas and requirements into SAP terminology, support the development of a business case and cost-benefit analysis. We are looking for an inquisitive person who enjoys the challenge of solving problems with a hands-on approach. Specifically, your role will entail:

  • Design, test, and implement new solutions for client.
  • Contribute to the optimization and redesign of end-to-end (E2E) processes.
  • Introduce and formulate new business ideas (innovations), develop trends and optimize proposals for optimized and user-friendly processes.
  • Assume an advisory role with clients as they move through their SAP implementation and migration journeys.

To be considered for this role your background and skill set should include some or all of the following:

5 years or more of experience in large-scale SAP implementation, deployment, support and/or upgrade projects.

  • in OTC sales processes and EDI Integration.
  • Experience in E2E process design and development.
  • Expertise in process management as well as in the application of supporting tools: e.g. SAP Solution.
  • Understanding the global relationships between business processes and SAP applications/solutions/products (T-Model).
  • Knowledge of the overall process landscape.
  • Detailed knowledge of interfaces with other SAP processes and applications/solutions/products or with non-SAP solutions.
  • Competence in the implementation of requirements according to technical possibilities.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry, ideally automotive, aerospace or another similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and/or strong hands-on experience.
  • Strong Bilingual (English & French) communication skills.
