VS Group is looking for an innovative and experienced business and/or accounting professional to join our team. We are currently looking to hire an Office Controller with solid management accounting skills.

In this role, you will be a key member of the VS Group team, and it is essential to find the right candidate to fill this position. Roles and Responsibilities Summary:

Internally:

  • To oversee the VS Group operations from a management position.
  • To provide the owner and his management team monthly statement and operation for cases.
  • To maintain, test and establish internal operational control and guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures and to protect the company assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
  • To provide reports, manage and forecast workload and resources as needed.
  • To work within and guide a team including the production team and the administration staff.
  • Prepare annual budgets with management team and establishing schedules benchmark on revenue and expenditures.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

Externally:

  • To assist our client with special projects that relate to internal controls and procedures.
  • To assist our client with managerial reporting for management decision in operation.
  • To assess clients' internal controls and processes.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Candidate may be a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) with an interest in managerial accounting or a candidate with a business degree majoring in relevant studies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of leading financial software such as, Sage, QuickBooks, QBO, Sage 300, PC law
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proactive and responsive.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: the ability to independently manage day to day tasks.

Compensation:

At VS Group, we offer several benefits to our employees, including opportunities for profit sharing, bonuses, health benefits, flexibility, travel, continued professional development and training, and opportunities for personal growth.

Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and expertise in the range of $60,000 to $85,000 per year.
