Reporting to the Assistant Campus and Executive Support Manager, the Facilities Assistant is responsible to assist the campus operations manager with various campus operations activities including minor facility maintenance and repair, reception, and equipment room. and collaborating with internal key stakeholders, in alignment with our corporate strategic imperatives. Contributes to a working environment where all team members can be their best selves, grow and thrive, to support our corporate mission of championing student success.
Handling minor repair and maintenance requirements on campus including assisting with moving equipment between campuses and studios.
Monitoring the washrooms, cleaning, restocking items, and servicing the restrooms.
Quickly responding to any cleaning crisis, like a major spill, odor in the kitchen, and mess in the restrooms.
Manning reception and/or the equipment room when someone is off sick or on vacation.
Adhering to policies and procedures, to support the ongoing maintenance of buildings, studios and equipment room.
Contributing to a positive corporate culture that supports equity, inclusion, learning, and wellness.
~3 years of experience in building maintenance and customer service, including experience in minor building repair, reception activities and dealing with end customers.
~ Secondary school diploma (or international equivalent).
~ Strong verbal and written communication skills and MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams).
