Commercial Litigation Law Clerk

Join Our Client’s dynamic team as a Commercial Litigation Law Clerk, where your expertise in litigation assistance will shine. With a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including specific proficiency in civil litigation, you'll play a vital role in their busy practice. Salary: Up to $75K

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of documents connected to litigation process;
  • Manage litigation file from beginning to end
  • Preparation of accounts;
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment;
  • Assist litigation partner with a busy and demanding litigation practice;
  • Prepare and complete all necessary litigation documentation such as demand letters, motion records, pleadings, notices, affidavits, etc.;
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
  • Ensure all filing is organized and up to date on a daily basis, both physical and electronic

Qualifications

  • Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma/Certificate from a recognized institution;
  • 4+ years relevant experience as a litigation or executive assistant
  • Knowledge of the litigation and civil law procedures is required;
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment;
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office applications; Knowledge of Worldox or document management program an asset;
  • Experience with Litigation Highway, Tymetix and Soluno a definite asset; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
