Our client, a reputable Toronto firm is currently looking for a Litigation Assistant. A boutique law firm specializing in Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
Recipient of Canadian Law Award for litigation excellence.
Office conveniently located in Downtown Toronto

Provide legal administrative and clerical support ;
- Draft/edit correspondence and legal documents from precedents and/or dictation;
- Liaise with Billing Coordinators for the monthly production of accounts;
- 3+ experience working as a Litigation Legal Assistant;
- Post secondary education in a Legal Assistant/Administration program or equivalent required;
- Law Clerk certificate not required but will be considered an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Outlook and Excel), legal software and applications;
- Must effectively use Automated Civil Litigation (ACL), Accounting software (Lighthouse or 3E) Docket software (Carpe Diem) and Caselines.
- Solid attention to detail and time management and multitasking skills ; Ability to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines.
