Job Description

The successful candidate will be involved in multiple projects across various sectors including datacentre, biopharmaceutical, medical devices, waste treatment, and food and drink.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Reporting directly to the Director of Process and Project Engineering.
  2. Preparing reports, front-end studies, and capital cost estimates.
  3. Generating PFD’s, P&ID’s, and process descriptions.
  4. Preparing and maintaining project indices.
  5. Preparing technical specifications and inquiry packages for vendors.
  6. Conducting technical and commercial bid analysis of vendor bids.
  7. Performing process design and calculations.
  8. Preparing validation documentation.
  9. Liaising and co-ordinating with clients, design team members, and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
  10. User Requirement Specification (URS) Preparation.
  11. Providing process support to clients.
  12. Conducting site walkdowns of process plant installations.
  13. Handling specific site assignment work.

Requirements:

  • Graduate chemical engineers with 2 – 5 years’ experience in consulting engineering or project engineering.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Possess good technical skills, written ability, motivation, enthusiasm, and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and successfully liaise with clients.
  • Innate aptitude for process engineering design techniques.

Package:

Salary: €60k - €80k depending on experience
