Lead technology operations for BCI from Victoria or Vancouver, shaping cloud infrastructure, digital workplaces, and AI-first modernization across the organization.
British Columbia Investment Management Corporation seeks a technically credible Vice President reporting to the SVP, Technology & Innovation and CTO. Lead approximately 32 people while evolving cloud and infrastructure services, workplace systems, service management, and disaster recovery. Influence strategic technology decisions through senior advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cloud and infrastructure services and systems
- Lead digital workplace services and systems
- Direct Service Desk and service management
- Oversee disaster recovery capabilities
- Advise the CTO on strategic technology decisions
Requirements:
- Leadership experience managing large technology teams
- Technical credibility across modern infrastructure environments
- Experience in technology-forward, entrepreneurial organizations
- Ability to lead change within stable environments
- Curiosity about cloud, AI, automation, and engineering practices
