The School of Engineering & Technology is currently seeking qualified professionals to teach courses Part-time, in person, during the day in the Commercial Flight Operations program, starting September 2024. We are currently seeking individuals who could teach Algebra (MATH1380), Exponents & Trigonometry MATH1390 and/or Physics for Aviation (PHYS1180). 
Carry out regularly scheduled instruction according to the format prescribed for the course, including in shop, online, classroom, and computer-assisted lab lessons
Create and maintain a positive learning environment which supports the diversity of students’ cultures, educational backgrounds, and learning styles
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline is required
Aviation related background is an asset
Previous adult or post-secondary teaching experience is considered an asset
Experience with curriculum development is an asset
Knowledge and experience in computer systems (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) and educational technologies (e.g. D2L, Zoom) is an asset
Strong leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
