Apply locations Kentville, NS time type Full time posted on Posted 2 Days Ago job requisition id R121900 As a fixed term Oil Heating Technician you will complete jobs requested by our customers and solve their issues through diagnostic troubleshooting, doing routine maintenance on their existing systems and installing new equipment. Your goal will be to provide excellent customer service, ensuring the systems you are working on are safe and operating properly as well as completing your work in a timely and effective manner. Your success is dependent on the quality of work you complete and the satisfaction of our customers’ needs.

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and tanks.
Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service call. Maintain daily and yearly inventory.
Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable.
Rotational on call evenings and weekends.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, with a customer service focus
Ability to install and service various types of heating equipment
A valid Oil Burner Technician license is required, dual licensing (Oil and Gas) is an asset.
Knowledge of wiring, plumbing and some air conditioning is required.
