Software Development Manager

You will be leading the team that works on building one of the core services for eCommerce platform. You will hold responsibility for identifying bottlenecks in the process and roadblocks to success for the team and clearing these roadblocks.
You will report to the Director of Software Development and will lead the team to build, improve, and maintain a world-class, multi-tenant digital platform. Please note, this role is hybrid - 3 days in office and 2 days remote**
Lead technical architecture for a whole componentand/or cross-functional team.
Translate project goals and product roadmaps into organized technical tasks.
Through your knowledge of industry trends and tools, together with your own experiences, guide the team to improve our software, our environment, and our process.
Coach and mentor developers in the team through technical design sessions, code reviews and pair programming.
Provide technical guidance and support in resolving critical production issues.
Conduct performance reviews. A deep understanding of software development with a minimum of 5 years hands-on programming expertise. A track record of successfully mentoring and growing other software developers in your previous roles as a direct manager.
Opinionated about what it takes to produce great software but remains receptive to other's ideas.
Experienced with software estimation, often confronted with complexity anduncertainty.
Makes decisions based on data. You can present complicated solutions to non-technical audience in a simple and logical way.
Develop complex consumer facing software using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot and Cloud technologies(Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
Practical experience with event-based architecture, reactive system design, SQL/NoSQL databases.
