We are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join the Geotechnical Practice in Atlantic Canada , providing technical and operational leadership, having superior client relations skills and a proven ability to deliver major assignments. Bring your proven geotechnical and project management track record in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland to work for us.
Our geotechnical engineers work closely with other AtkinsRéalis professionals in multiple sectors such as transportation, rail & transit, energy, industrial, cities and development.
Participate on multi-disciplinary teams and projects and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects of all scales.
Mentoring of junior staff and acting as technical reference.
Develop and expand our energy and infrastructure geotechnics capability by building on the existing portfolio of our rapidly expanding, flexible and outward looking team that can tackle work across a broad spectrum of sectors.

Proven experience (approximately 7+ years) in geotechnical engineering with proven exposure in energy, industrial, transport and infrastructure projects in Atlantic Canada/Maritimes.
A strong academic background with a relevant university degree
Professional Engineering Designation in either NL, NS, NB, or PEI.
Proven experience of acting in an intermediate or senior role in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
Project management - experience and understanding of the needs and approaches to the engineering consultancy and design markets, including relationships with clients, and work planning.
Experienced in general geotechnical numerical software
Excellent interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to support the development of teams.
Excellent report writing skills with the ability to peer-review and produce quality deliverables.
