Zipline is looking for a skilled Data Scientist to leverage data-driven insights and advanced analytics to drive strategic decision-making and deliver actionable solutions for our retail SaaS platform. As a key member of our Data team, You'll collaborate with a diverse team of innovators to transform raw data into strategic gold mines, uncovering hidden gems and unlocking untapped potential for our retail partners.
Utilize machine learning techniques and statistical analysis to develop predictive models and algorithms that optimize various aspects of the retail experience, including demand forecasting, task management, and inventory control.
Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into our retail SaaS platform, ensuring seamless implementation and scalability, and delighting our customers.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and retail technology to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge in the market.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a focus on the retail domain.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience using libraries and frameworks for data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning (e.g., Solid understanding of statistical methods, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
Experience working with large-scale datasets and proficiency in SQL and data querying languages.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and leveraging data science to drive business impact in the retail industry.
