Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Lead to play a pivotal role in our company’s growth and success. In this critical position, you will be the driving force behind the smooth and efficient operation of our business. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to innovate, produce, and deliver high-quality hardware and software products.

As an Operations Lead at Pulsenics, your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional operational tasks. You will be instrumental in shaping the operational strategy, ensuring that our processes not only support but also enhance our business objectives. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and practical execution, combining deep knowledge of supply chain management, hardware production, and stakeholder engagement.

You will be at the helm of operational excellence, optimizing processes, and leading a team dedicated to delivering results. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments, including product development, sales, and customer support, to ensure our operations align with market demands and customer needs.

You will be working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where your actions will have a direct impact on the success of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Operations Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with Pulsenics' business goals, focusing on efficiency and scalability.

• Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain, ensuring efficient sourcing, production, and delivery of both hardware and software products.

• Production Oversight: Manage production processes for hardware products, ensuring quality control, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.

• Process Development & Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, implementing best practices for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

• Budget Management: Oversee the operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.

• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, and manage risks associated with operational processes.

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

• Data Analysis and Performance Metrics: Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and measure the success of operational strategies.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as product development, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and collaboration on company objectives.

• Innovation and Market Adaptation: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, adapting operations to keep Pulsenics at the forefront of the hardware and data analytics sector.

Requirements : 

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the hardware and/or software industry. Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is highly desirable.

• Supply Chain Expertise: Proven track record in managing supply chains, including procurement, production, and logistics, especially in the context of hardware manufacturing.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with hardware production processes and deployment. 

• Knowledge of relevant software tools and technologies used in operations and supply chain management.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, with strong skills in team management, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies.

• Analytical Abilities: Proficient in data analysis, with an ability to use data-driven insights to make informed operational decisions.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.

• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing business needs and challenges.

• Financial Acumen: Understanding of budget management, cost optimization, and financial analysis in an operational context.

• Compliance and Quality Focus: Knowledge of relevant industry standards and legal regulations, with a commitment to upholding quality and compliance in all operations.
