In the US, they offer casino, bingo, and poker games.Pala’s strength is its relentless focus on high quality, high functioning, immersive software platforms, and with recent developments in legislation, the online gaming industry is poised for rapid growth.The Senior Web Developer will have primary responsibility for designing and implementing mobile gaming applications on an open source Linux platform using HTML5, Canvas, Angular, ionic integrating with restful APIs, Java framework and other open source tools. The mobile gaming applications are highly configurable and customizable, are under a high transaction rate with high robustness and scalability requirements.Job Duties:Design and implement code in HTML5, Canvas, Angular, ionic, Java Script, TypeScript to support a high transaction rate and mission critical mobile gaming applications with efficiency, robustness and high performance;Design and implement account management modules, database interaction, APIs, financial transactions, back office applications and various administration applications.Manage and implement changes specified by the design team to an array of different websites.Qualifications:At least 5 years of relevant development experienceComfortable with design, implementation and partitioning or delegation of large, complex featuresExperience with developing Mobile Gaming and/or Mobile Applications in a high transaction, high security environmentDemonstrates strong HTML5, Canvas skillsSkilled JavaScript developer with Angular and ionic experienceGood knowledge of MySQL and web services integrationExperience with Facebook API’sExperience with logical data modeling and physical relational database designUnderstands highly efficient, highly robust, transactional scalable systemsUnderstands redundancy, scalability, fail-over mechanismUnderstanding of communications transaction processing systemsUnderstanding of internet, electronic commerce and web-related technologiesFormal software educationAbility to adapt to new environments, and the ability to identify, propose and implement changes and improvementsSolid analytical and problem solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalSoft Skills:Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environmentAbility to adapt to new environments, and the ability to identify, propose and implement changes and improvements.Solid analytical and problem solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalFormal Computer Science educationInnovative, creative, visionaryIndependent and self-motivatedEnjoys and works well in teams, but also thrives in autonomyExhibits the important balance of patient and determination that allows entrepreneurial business to flourishOrganized and thoroughCollaborative team player, excited and willing to do what it takes to get the job doneJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife InsuranceOn-site childcareOn-site gymOn-site parkingPaid time offRRSP matchTuition reimbursementVision careWork Location: Hybrid Remote - 3 days per week in our North York office, ON M2J 5B5
