JOB REQUIREMENTS: DCF is looking for a motivated Systems EngineeringLead that will provide innovative solutions within a diverse Enterpriseenvironment with multiple, cloud services and on-premises infrastructurecomponents. The candidate will have expert level troubleshooting skillswith the ability to analyze current technologies used within ourorganization and determine ways to improve performance and providestability to backend services. A high-level of soft skills incollaborating with Information Technology professionals within theorganization to ensure the proper infrastructure components areavailable, working as designed for projects or operations, and that bestpractices and organizational IT policies are being followed. The SystemsEngineering lead will provide leadership and subject matter expertise inthe administration, maintenance and support of numerous backend systemsthat support the agencies application development, security, and desktopinfrastructure. They will have responsibilities in directing andmanaging the workload of team members and managing the on call supportfunctions for the operations team. The individual will work closely withInformation Technology professionals to ensure technical components areavailable for projects and working properly. Document and monitorrequirements needed to institute proposed updates or new services. Theywill be well versed in projecting for possible challenges on constraintsincluding, risks, time, resources, and scope changes to the project.They will work closely with the supervisor and project teams tosuccessfully monitor the progress of initiatives, provide detailedspecifications for proposed solutions, and define clear goals for allaspects of a project and manage their proper execution. They will havethe ability to direct a small team in completing tasks, improving onoperational support or maintenance, and document processes as needed.This position will be a technical lead for our backend infrastructureservices. These services or systems include areas within the MicrosoftServices arena including but not limited to Active Directory (AD)services including ADFS, Group Policy, Distributed File Services, Azuresubscriptions, DHCP, and networking protocols and services. This personwill be responsible for third (3rd ) level technical support functionsfor the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), monitoring tools,multi-factor authentication, storage and backup, Power Shell scripting,and numerous customized off the shelf applications that have beenimplemented at DCF. A high-level understanding of networking protocolsand network connectivity will be required. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCEAND QUALIFICATIONS: MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Expert level experience inthe MS Windows server administration including all current supported OSversions (15 years) Active Directory Group Policy implementation andTroubleshooting (15 years) The candidate will have expert level systemadministration skills for MS core services like Group Policy, DFS, DHCP,DNS, to manage, monitor, and support our Agency Managed ApplicationServers (15 years) Expert knowledge in supporting certificate services(10 years) Expert experience in implementing technology best practicesin an organization (10 years) Proven competencies in documentinginfrastructure components documentation with MS Visio (10 years) Expertknowledge in configuring LDAP (10 years) Expert knowledge ofmulti-factor authentication services (5 years) System administrator forMS Azure subscriptions and Services (5 years) The technical lead willhave experience analyzing new and current technologies used within anorganization with the ability to document and recommend solutions toimprove on performance, stability, and cost savings to the agency Thequalified candidate will have experience leading a project team as atechnical expert in system implementation, wor ing with project managersand leadership to set project goals, identifying subject matter experts,providing technical best practices to help in decision making, and thelead technical support for different projects and systems *****APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: joannem@cci-worldwide.com
