Client: Consumer ServiceRole: Salesforce Developer + DevOpsJob Type: PermanentLocation: Hybrid (3 days in Guelph, ON office)Your New CompanyOur client, a very well-known Service company to hire a Salesforce Developer + DevOps on perm.Your New Role: The Salesforce Developer, reporting into the Director of IT infrastructure, is responsible for driving the overall adoption, optimization, and ongoing iteration of the Salesforce platform, leveraging multiple integrations and different technologies.Responsibilities:- Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment to Design, operate, and integrate Salesforce systems to enable efficiencies in key areas of the business - Focus the organization’s use of data to further near and long-term business priorities, including the creation of report visualizations in support of the Salesforce business units. Provide consulting and coaching around best practices in Salesforce administration and implementation to enhance user experience.- Work on Salesforce automation to streamline processes and provide administrative support including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to build, iterate, and improve existing or new processes and functions. Design, build, and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions for the business using Salesforce and other connected technologies.- Drive and implement a Salesforce development lifecycle including but not limited to standard practices, QA and code reviews.- Perform development, testing, implementation, and documentation as it relates to Salesforce.com software and the Force.com platform.- Understand and improve existing Salesforce integrations with other platforms, both internal and external- Manage Salesforce release cycle, determine how to make best use of new tools and inform the user community of functionality.- Provide ad-hoc assistance to all users, including Training and DocumentationWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:- Minimum three years of experience of direct experience in Salesforce development-Agile, CI/CD (git actions, devops pipes (ado) , Repos) REST as devops experience. - Past experience working in a fast-paced environment with a complex Salesforce instance, preferably in the enterprise software space- Advanced experience with Salesforce.com configurations- Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales, Enterprise, Lightning & Service Cloud offerings - Certified Salesforce Admin, additional certifications preferred. - Experience working within a sales Operations environment within an analytical position- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes.- Strong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technology.- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, processes, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity preferred. - Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skillsWhat You’ll get in ReturnThe client is offering a permanent engagement and benefit package.Interested?If you’re available and interested in this role, please reply to Shivangi.gupta@hays.com as soon as you can attaching your updated resume.
