Job Description

The role of Structural Engineer will involve undertaking structural design and calculations, working with revit designers, managing the junior engineers, and collaborating with other disciplines within the design team.

You will be part of a civil and structural team of engineers and designers working to develop, coordinate, and finalize structural design deliverables. Our Client offers a multi-discipline design service for their clients, allowing them to deliver projects from concept to detailed design, and also supporting construction phases.

They have an experienced team of engineers and designers, and as a senior engineer, you will gain experience in Life Sciences projects and get an opportunity to work with their in-house discipline teams as well as having engagement with their clients and construction management teams.

Requirements
  1. A level eight qualification recognized by the National Framework of Qualifications/Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), or other equivalent qualification in the field of civil, structural, mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering;
  2. At least 5 years’ post-graduate experience
  3. Familiar and competent with all aspects of structural design and be proficient with Eurocode design
  4. Competency with structural design software (we typically use STAAD / Tekla / Robot)
  5. Have experience working on multidiscipline design projects, and have used Navisworks / Revizto software
  6. Have good communication skills
  7. Industrial design experience a plus
  8. Be able to provide mentorship / guidance to junior engineers

Package:

Hourly Rate negotiable depending on Experience
