Core services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language services, augmentative and alternative communication, family services and therapeutic recreation. *What Will You Be Doing?*
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work to improve participation and quality of life through a child’s ability to perform role-appropriate, day-to-day tasks necessary for _*self-care*_ (such as feeding, dressing, toileting);
_*productivity*_ (such as school, work);
and _*leisure and play*_ within their environment. This process involves assessment, identification of strengths and needs, goal-setting, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment in a direct, indirect or consultative manner, as indicated, then discharge.
This position may be required to work with children and youth with a complex profile of needs to deliver an interdisciplinary approach to care with community partnering agencies in an outreach capacity in the home, community or school.

*Does This Sound Like You? :

* *Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy*
* Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
* Have a strong interest or experience in:
* School Based Rehabilitation
* Autism Spectrum Disorders for Preschoolers
* Active rehab for 0-18yrs with various neurological, developmental and/or physical challenges
* Sound understanding of OT amongst children and youth
* Want to make a difference in the lives of families and clients
