About our client

Our customer is a thought leader and innovator that offers an integrated portfolio of furniture for the modern office. They design furniture that works across boundaries, products that fit within any architectural envelope and work culture. Their corporate headquarters are based in Toronto, Ontario.

They're also known for being one of the main references when it comes to projects involving OpenEdge, so expect to be in an environment specialized and with the best-in-class professionals in the area

Responsibilities

• Analyze/interpret business requirements to design, develop, and implement software-based solutions

• Write clean, testable code and APIs using OpenEdge Progress

• Review and refactor code.

• Test and debug various applications.

• Follow approved development methodologies (i.e. Scrum, Agile, etc.)

• Set up and perform development testing

Must Have

• 6+ years experience with OpenEdge Progress.

• Experience with Web server, app server, webspeed, apache, rest generate json, API’s e object-oriented programming is a must.

• Our customer uses OpenEdge version 12 with object-oriented programming (classes, super procedures, ABL, last version of web speed).

• Must be proactive and communicative.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular 2+

About the role

• Average of 168 hours/month.

• Hiring Methods: As CLT employee (payment in Real) or as Independent Contractor (payment in Canadian Dollars).

• Work according to the Eastern Timezone.
