Civil Engineer, Water Infrastructure | Design Consultancy

Our client, a mid-sized engineering consultancy with an office in Toronto and Vancouver is looking for Intermediate/Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing operations. An engineer with at least 5 years (10+ for Senior role) of experience who’s worked with municipal linear water infrastructure design , such as:
Sewers
and whose background includes environmental assessments, functional planning, detailed design, construction administration, preparation of specification and tender documents, project management (PMP certification is an asset)
For the Senior role, we are looking for someone to fill a leadership role in the company and to contribute to corporate strategic planning and management initiatives. We want someone who’ll give hands-on project direction, technical guidance, quality assurance and overall project guidance to project teams, and who’ll develop and grow their teams through leading, mentoring, training and recruiting.
We also want a Senior Civil Engineer who’ll develop proposals and make presentations to clients, and who’ll maintain client relationships and attend client functions, who’ll develop new opportunities with existing clients, and who support the company’s growth by expanding our client base.
