As an AZ Driver at Recycling Rewards, you will play a crucial role in our logistics and transportation operations. Operating commercial vehicles, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers or designated locations. Ensure all work areas such as product loading areas, collection bin sites and trailer sites are maintained, cleaned and in operational condition.
• Work in collaboration with collection supervisors for maintenance of bins and replacements as and when required.
• Responsible to report any incidents or accidents to immediate supervisor or manager for further action.
• Ensure all company protocols, transportation by laws is followed for operation of commercial trucks and are in compliance with the Ministry of Transportation.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the vehicles and make sure that the vehicle is in operational condition before the start and end of each shift.
• Must be able to Haul a long distance.
• Must be flexible to drive 20 feet and 5 tons trucks on various occasion when there is no tractor/trailer work available.
• While driving 20 feet or 5 ton truck , ensuring proper loading and offloading at various location , and enter the poundage information in to Talize software.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle to ensure that it is in proper working condition.
• Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of oneself, other road users, and the cargo being transported.
• Stay informed about and comply with any changes in transportation regulations.
Properly secure cargo to prevent shifting or falling during transit, minimizing the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Take appropriate breaks and rest periods to ensure alertness while driving.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as reflective vests and safety boots, during loading/unloading activities or when required by company policies.
Report any medical conditions or medications that may impact driving safety.
Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses to the appropriate supervisors or safety officers.

• Technical Proficiency: proficiency in the necessary tools, software, and equipment relevant to the individual's role.

• Valid AZ driver's license.
• A clean driving records.
• Proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong driving skills.
• Physically alert while driving vehicle.
