The successful candidate will focus on quality of the production process, maintenance of standard processes to prevent adulteration or contamination of product, testing of product attributes and packaging integrity, regulatory compliance, and facility sanitation. The will also provide direction to hourly and salaried lab technicians and sanitation workers.Available Shift:***Rotational Shift Requirement***Day Shift - 7 am - 3 pmAfternoon Shift - 3 pm - 11.00 pmNight - 11 pm - 7 amPositions Available:G2 Facility - 150 Gibraltar Rd, Vaughan, ONIM1 Facility - 725 Intermodal Dr, Brampton ONKey Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership in the areas of food safety and quality systemsAbility to provide leadership to the to the plant on all product safety programs and issuesAccountable for product quality by conducting regular checks as per procedure and educating production personnel on product quality standards (if needed).Accountable for ingredient and packaging meeting specifications prior to use in productionResponsible for food safety within the facilityResponsible to follow Give and Go’s quality and food safety standardsAnalyze and maintain the quality of all products, as per set proceduresPerforms audits to assure compliance to GMP and company standardsResponsible for ensuring the highest level in product and package quality while operating within product usage and budgetary guidelinesWork as a role model for safety in the workplaceResponsible for recommending changes in manufacturing practices and or production flow to ensure product safetyPerform other duties as assigned.Recipe for Success:Associate’s or Bachelors degree or Diploma in food science, Microbiology or related discipline1-3 years quality assurance experience in food manufacturing is a mustProven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and follow-upDemonstrated ability to identify potential issues and resolve complex problemsHigh personal energy level/resilient in natureHigh degree of emotional maturity and integritySuperior leadership skills along with strong written and verbal communication skillsSkills Required:Ability to work in a team-oriented environmentAbility to work independently for majority of the dayFast paced environmentMust have reliable transportation to travel within Give & Go plant locationsGreat people, baking great products, for a great future.Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. is a proud member of the Mondelēz family and has been a leading and growing North American manufacturer of baked goods for over 30 years.
