Job Role: FileNet DeveloperLocation: British Columbia, HybridJob Type: Permanent FulltimeJob DescriptionSystem Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and stability of FileNet like Content Engine, Process Engine, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Case manager, BAW, and ECM artifacts systems.Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve FileNet like Content Engine, Process Engine, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Case manager, BAW, and ECM artifacts system issues, including but not limited to performance issues, errors, and outages.Monitoring: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of FileNet configurations, processes, and procedures.Security: Implement and enforce security best practices to protect data stored within FileNet systems.Integration: Collaborate with application developers and other IT teams to integrate FileNet with other systems and applications.Patch Management: Manage and apply software patches and upgrades to ensure FileNet systems are up to date and secure.Capacity Planning: Monitor system usage and performance trends to forecast future capacity needs and make recommendations for scalability.User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users experiencing FileNet-related issues.Training: Develop and deliver training sessions to educate end-users and IT staff on FileNet best practices and troubleshooting techniques.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a FileNet Support Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.Deep understanding of FileNet architecture, including Content Engine, Process Engine, Application Engine, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Case manager, BAW, and ECM artifacts.Proficiency in FileNet administration tasks, such as system configuration, user management, and permissions. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Experience with FileNet monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques. Knowledge of database systems, especially IBM DB2 and Oracle, as they relate to FileNet.Familiarity with enterprise content management (ECM) concepts and industry standards.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Deployment Professional – FileNet Content Manager, are a plus.Life at Capgemini:Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
