AECOM Buildings + Places is seeking a Senior Architectural Lab Planner to join our team. AECOM Buildings + Places Canada (B+P Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building’s engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects. Project assignments may include, although not limited to: Transit and Municipal, Commercial, and Institutional projects, Justice, Education and Government.
Work directly with clients, scientists, researchers, and related end-users to develop laboratory planning strategies at all levels of detail including new construction and renovations
Offer and support creative laboratory planning, technical design and detailing decisions that are in line with project goals and understand their impact on cost, construction, sustainability, and other factors
Offer and support Pharmaceutical related planning, technical design and detailing decisions that are in line with project goals and understand their impact on cost, construction, sustainability, and other factors
Direct document production in accordance with identified project specific checklists, AECOM standards and QA/QC standard program
Promote firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability
Day to day project and client management of laboratory projects from initial planning through construction
External and internal client development and communication across a diversity of client type
social impact; urban design and resiliency planning within science and research sector and Social Infrastructure in collaboration with Sector leaders
At a minimum to be considered, candidates must have at least a University Degree in related field of study and no less than six (6) years of relevant experience.
Experience in laboratory planning
Relocation is not available for this position.
